My last visit to Mokpo- Hodge don't open on base

Okay, so Hodge informed me mid-January that he would be getting one more one-day break. On these breaks he is allowed to go into Mokpo and stay over night. His movements are limited so we usually just veg in a hotel, watch movies, and snack on some oober fattening food that Hodge has been missing (usually pizza). HAHAHA this time I was on a health kick.

I ordered a beef soup called Solang Tang and Hodge ordered a dumpling soup. My soup was kinda yucky......but fortunetly Hodge let me have some of his in exchange for some of my rice. :) Hodge also discovered that yes indeed side dish trays that are stacked usually have food on BOTH trays. That made him happy until he tried some of the side dishes. hehe. Its kind of a hit and miss with side dishes in Korea. Some of the stuff is really delicious and well some of it tastes like feet. I guess its the same at home.

Hodge and I decided to try a hotel by the sea. But ofcourse it was dark and we couldn't really see the water. I forced him to go out and walk a little....but he (being a little weakling) couldn't take it and the trip was cut short. Oh well...we managed to pick up some super yummy green tea flavoured soybean milk that I've been constantly craving. mmmm....I wish I had some now.

We also managed to take a few pictures. They're not in an particular order....nor are they particularily interesting. I hope you enjoy.

Hodge has the cutest little grin on his
face in this picture. I just love it.

I think that is his "trying" to be sexy face...lol jk.

Now that is definitely his sexy face. Probably one of the best reasons I have for loving that crazy man!

Man of many faces....this is his Sergent Kim Ho Jung face.

This is my rock and roll face....lol

my.....LOOK AT ME KOREAN PEOPLE face

and yes I guess I was cold too because my nose was apparently red.

This is the guitar that Hodge was looking at. Ofcourse.....after he stops breaking mine.lol

That was a nice series called The Hat. Good? I think so........good night!

Korean men tend to have freakishly triangular eyebrows. Am I the only one to notice that...?
