I miss him

I recently went to Busan to visit some friends. All in all it was a short and sweet trip. Had coffee, got lost, you know...the usual. Anyway, I don't know why but I kept seeing all these young soldiers in the same uniform that Hodge wears. I know all about the stripes that they have on their shoulders, one strip-four strips....This shows how long you have been in the army if you are in the manditory program that Hodge is in. Hodge is at a four now. He has 100 days left and I'm getting super excited. But this weekend was hard. For some reason, I just was reminded of him at every turn. Someone would walk by wearing his military uniform. From seoul there was a boy going to Busan....I imagine that that must be what Hodge looks like when he's heading back to base....but then I remember hodge only takes the bus....not the super fast KTX.

Christmas is coming and I'm getting nostalgic. I remember Christmas last year. It was so much fun. I remember that the house was filled with so much warmth. I'm planning on having a Christmas dinner at my house this year. I might have to borrow a table from school to put all the food on....I don't think my table is big enough. Hodge, Jesse, SungHyun (maybe), and whoever else wants to come are invited. I want my house to be as warm and inviting as my mother's house is. I'm trying to procure some Christmas goodie recipes at this time....so hopefully it will be a wonderful day.....lets all hope!!!!
