I had a great end to a great year. I want to thank all my friends and family that helped make this year wonderful. I have two ....no three ... a too many to count... new years resolutions.
1. start an exercise routine on Jen's eliptical (while i have it)
2. Write Hodge a letter as often as I can, and actually send them.
3. study Korean
4. finish my Tesol program
5. start a "real" life with my man
6. update on my blog more than once a month
7. take more pictures
8. laugh more
9. explore Korea/Seoul
10. take ear plugs to shows (my ears are ringing)
11. grow my hair (Hodge likes it like that)
12. Find someone to start a band with, I want to be a singer but I can't do much else.
13. work on the future school plans
14. take a warm shower tomorrow morning :)
15. watch less TV and do more hobbies (ie get off my ass)
16. learn to play the guitar
I think that is about it for now....if I can think of anything else I will let you know.
So, many of you know, I had a Christmas party this year. It was awesome. Somehow, I managed to cram 11 people into my small little apartment. Anyone living in Korea knows how small the apartments are. Mom and dad....its about the same size as my old apartment...but nicer.
I was too worried about cooking a turkey so Jesse and Rachel went halfsies on a pre-cooked turkey from Popeyes....aparently it was a seasonal special....whatever it was...it was friggin delicious. The meal was great. Turkey, stove top stuffing, smashed potatoes (Made with love my Myra), gravy, creamed corn, steamed broccoli, and fried rice for the vegan in all of us (courtesy of Master Chef Hodge). I made Tiramisu, Jello Cheese Cake, and the strawberry jello shit that my mom always makes us (who knew it could be that easy mom). By the time everyone had finished dinner, barely anyone could think of dessert.
I almost forgot, I also made Buns....but I think I forgot to put in a cup of flour when I was making them and Hodge had to help me out. I was so frustrated that I couldn't make these stupid buns. Never mind that I had never made buns unsupervised. Hodge recommended that next time I make something that I've never made before, I should possibly try it out a few days before the big event....well sure tell me that NOW. :)
I had so much fun that I forgot to even use my camera. If you want to see any pics, look on my facebook.
Love always
Annie

Get your butt on that eliptical. I want you to put more miles on it than I have (but that shouldn't be too hard)....hehe
Miss you....
