One hell uv a day!

For our yearly retreat to somewhere with work we all agreed that it would be absolutly wonderful to go paintballing. While not everyone participated.....everyone enjoyed themselves.....much better than just a romp in the park.

The day began at 9am with a bus ride and this pie. It had a garlic flavoured crust....it was nothing in comparison with MOM's homemade pie....no contest!Jackson showing off his feminine side here. "don't go there girlfriend."


After a wonderful meal and a water balloon fight....some of my co-workers enjoyed a game of.......kickball???? is that what its called. I dunno...you kick a ball anyway.

This lady with Shane is my lunch lady. She's like the coolest person in the world!!!

After paintball we all enjoyed a bite to eat. Can't beat BBQ'd pork.......mmmmmmmmmmm




The trip home was probably one of the best parts of the trip. Soju and Beer was brought back out from being left over from the BBQ....Everyone was tanked...well not quite everyone. There was a Kareoke machine on the bus and it was awsome to listen to the Koreans singing Korean pop songs. I even got up and did a little dancing of my own. It certainly made the trip home go a lot faster.





After we arrived back at the school some of the bus drivers and lunch-ladies decided that they hadn't had enough partying for the day, we decided to head to a "HOF" or kinda like a pub....we had a few beer but wait....more funwas to be had. We then decided that it would be fun to go to a Noraebang...or literally a singing room. It's basically a Kareoke bar.....but its separated into individual rooms. There is a huge TV screen in the front and two or three microphones. There are benches along the side and usually a table in the middle. Some of you at home might think this is a little weird...and kinda boring.but honestly....its really fun. I thought it was boring too.....but I've gotten used to it....and I've learned that it really is how fun you make it. Jen and I had an amazing time.







The whole evening ended with a trip to Hongdae where I proceeded to introduce Jen to some of my punk friends and well my good buddy JESSE!!! Jen called it an early night....and I did too...well....sorta...I went home about half and hour before the subway re-opened for the next morning....shortly after 4am I think. Damn the bars for staying open that late. Honestly.
