This Weekend was awsome

Again, stupidity prevails and Anne-Marie Forgets her Camera at school.........of all weekends to forget it...ugh!
Aside from being sick for the entirety of the weekend, it turned out to be a pretty damn good one. I didn't go out Friday night as I felt that I was getting sick. I decided to go out on Saturday though, so I studied extra hard....stupid Korean vocabulary tests that I fail regardless of if I study. I just have so much trouble remembering Korean words. I mean........even if I learn them for the test, I STILL forget them...but give me a break, I've only been taking lessons for two months. So, Saturday night I run into a few friends in the park and chill with them. We buy those big two litres of beer and all drink from that in a big circle. That's the cheapest way...and its more social. I've learned to drink the Korean way, where you don't let the bottle touch your lips but hover just over your mouth. Once a person is fully intoxicated, you just hope that the precious golden liquid hits your mouth, instead of your nose....and enjoy.

I was having so much fun in the park with my friends that I decided not to go to the Skunk show. Apparently it was a really good one but that's okay....there's always another really good show around the corner. I arrive at Skunk with a wack of Krispie Kreme doughnuts to hand out to everyone. YUMMY! To my suprise, Adam (the birthday boy for the evening) has boughten himself and everyone around him VEGAN ICECREAM.........for sure!! I dip into the icecream......and then he hands me an icecream bar. Keep in mind, it was really hot on saturday and I had already gone through two icecreams for the day.

Around 10pm I get a call from Hodge and he's upset about something stupid at work. (One thing that I don't understand is, why does the army jump to conclusions so quickly. Atleast three times, Hodge has been appologized to for being reprimanded for things that he didn't do wrong. is that how the system works? Stupid I think.) That ruins the fun that I had been having. I start to feel worn out, too much beer? Na...Was it the IceCream and the doughnut? Possibly....the stupid peach/orange cocktail in a bag that I bought across the street? Most likely...(I will document these at a later date for all to enjoy). Regardless, for the first time since, well I can remember, I make it home on the subway (AT NIGHT!!!) and not at 7am in the morning.

At 10am I wake up to my phone ringing. I talk to Hodge for about an hour. Then I get ready. Today I'm going to Cheongju.....a place far away from the hustle and bustle of Seoul.....to see Diane's boyfriend's band (99 Anger) and another of my favorite bands (13 Steps) play at Pearl Jam--- a club the Hardcore/punk "MF-Crew" rented out for the night. The show was awsome, and in two months when Diane finally posts the pics, I will steal some of her pics and put them on my site. By the way, visit her site, she's an amazing photographer!!! The show was awsome. One of the band members for one of the bands was crowd surfing...and ended up falling on his back and neck......it looked really painful....and I'm pretty sure it was. After the show we went for Samgyupsal....yah I eat it alot. its my bacon replacement! After food we drove back home. I got home last night at 1am only to realize that I have one knee that is twice the size of the other knee. I woke up this morning and could barely move my leg. So now.....walking to school for the 45 minutes it takes tonight should be REALLY fun. YAY!

All in all....a 5 star weekend.
